San Antonio River Walk. No visit would be complete with out enjoying the sanctuary of this urban attraction as it winds through the center of downtown passing restaurants, galleries and shops. Great pedestrian walkways provide an excellent way to see the city up close.

The Alamo. A few steps from the River Walk and you are at the Shrine of Texas Liberty, The Alamo. Only the chapel is left of this former Roman Catholic mission, now a museum where over 2.5 million people visit each year.

Tower of the Americas. This 750 foot tall observation tower was originally built as a centerpiece for the 1968 HemisFair World's Fair. Visitors can now ride up to the outdoor observation deck for a thrilling 360-degree view of the city. Enjoy the breathless views while dining at the restaurant also at the top of the tower.

El Mercado - The Market. Enjoy the experience of bargain hunting at the largest Mexican marketplace outside of Mexico. Here you will find dozens of small shops offering unique merchandise, gifts and souvenirs.

San Antonio Botanical Garden. Open year round, visitors can enjoy a walking tour through this 33-acre park full of garden displays and plants to inspire people to connect with the plant world and understand the importance plants in our lives.
